Physiotherapy Exercises Warsaw

Home Physiotherapy Exercises Warsaw

More and more children and adults are struggling with posture defects and various dysfunctions of the locomotor system. All that is related to the fast pace of life, stress, too small and limited amount of physical activity. And the most important thing is the lack of attention to their posture. Corrective and compensatory classes are intended for both children and adults.

I prefer individual training which will allow me to focus 100% on the person. This is particularly important for children.

Physiotherapy at the customer’s home

Child feels comfortable in his/her own home. Parents have a chance to see how their child is practising and what should be improved in silhouette. During the training we use utensils such as: gym stick, bags, etc. A set of exercises is chosen individually for any needs, age and posture defects.

Exercise program with briefings + 2x corrective gymnastics classes

The first meeting is an analysis body posture, the silhouette of a child and an interview with a parent. Based on this information I choose a set of exercises for classes. At the second meeting a parent receives individual training program tailored to the child’s posture, home environment and its available equipment to exercise. The presented plan is connected with the briefing and the elements that need to pay special attention to are marked. If there is a lack of exercise equipment, the parent receives a list of supplies needed for training, to be purchased.

The plan involves not only the child training, but the parents as well, which enable them independently help their child in the proper performance of the exercise.

What is a posture defect?

Posture defect means any deviation from the correct posture. Properly our spine should be in the shape of S letter. Vertebraes of the spine should not be twisted. Curvature of the spine should not be unduly deepened. Feet well arched. Pelvic rim balanced, which means that it is not excessively inclined forward or backward. Any change in our structure will cause changes in the setting of our spine.

You should know that changes in the structure of our feet, eg. flat feet, are bound to impact on our posture. They are responsible for how far will those disturbances go in the posture of our body.

Types of posture defects?

The most common posture defects include:

  • Round Back – deepened thoracic kyphosis
  • Concave Back – deepened lumbar lordosis
  • Concave – Round Back – deepened both thoracic kyphosis and lumbar lordosis
  • Flat Back – flattened curvature of the spine
  • The lateral curvature of the spine (scoliosis)
  • Problems in the construction of the foot, including flat feet
  • Problems in the construction of the knee: varus and valgus settings

Each of these disadvantages is associated with changes in muscle tension. Not compensate for these disorders involves a cascade of changes in the appearance and function of our body.
